First Impression: Honey Drop [Farmacy]

honey drop I was lucky enough to be a winner of an Instagram giveaway that Farmacy was holding to launch their newest product: Honey Drop. I was so happy when it arrived so I immediately started testing it out.

Farmacy is truly one of the most exciting brands to launch in recent years. So often we see brands launch and dissipate within a very short amount of time. Farmacy has done the opposite- they have flourished and become a leader in the skincare industry. Farmer Cultivated, Scientist Activated for Fresh, Radiant Skin is the message that Farmacy is sending to everyone, and its a very strong message that has been very well received.

Honey Drop Lightweight Moisturizer (1.7 oz $45) is described as a long lasting, lightweight moisturizer combining GreenEnvy Honey, Triple Hyaluronic Acid Complex, and Cupuacu Butter Beads. It comes with a magnetic spatula which is very neat and comes in handy! Lets dive into the ingredients a bit more: GreenEnvy Honey (full of potent natural antioxidants made by the bees that live on the Farmacy farm and pollinate the Echinacea GreenEnvy flowers), Royal Jelly (helps nourish skin with rich amino acids), Triple Hyaluronic Acid Complex (helps boost skins natural moisture), Cupuacu Butter Beads from the Amazon rainforest (release long lasting moisture and help skins barrier function), Mistletoe, Eggplant, Turmeric, and endless other beautiful botanicals. Now for me I have dry skin and this moisturizer has been amazing for the Texas summer heat. It truly is very lightweight but amazingly finds an incredible balance between being moisturizing but not greasy. My skin loves this moisturizer and I could see it working very well for many skin types. I think that if you have oily skin this would probably be a dream for you as well (especially as a nighttime moisturizer). The texture is very lightweight and sinks into the skin wonderfully. It does have a slight scent but its nothing offensive and it disappears within seconds of being applied to the skin. The texture is almost like a creamy jelly type of consistency, it feels very refreshing upon application. I think that the Cupuacu Butter Beads are what works for my dry skin as this moisturizer truly does keep my skin hydrated for hours. Some nights when my skin is sensitive or I had a stellar skin day and I don’t need to do much to it I have found that cleansing with Clear Bloom (review for this will be coming soon!) and then applying a layer of Honey Drop is just enough for me.

Please note that while this product was gifted to me it in no way sways my opinion of it. As stated above I did win this product in a giveaway but all statements made about it are that of my own. As always you can expect nothing but honesty from me.
